‘Elon Musk Is The Greatest Person On The Planet Right Now,’ Says YouTuber Sandy Munro

If you want pure and unbiased news about what’s going on with Tesla and Elon Musk, you absolutely have to follow electric car dismantler and Tesla investor Sandy Munro’s YouTube rants. Unlike the lamestream media, Sandy will tell it to you straight, because what incentive would he have to lie to you? Surely he isn’t attempting to shore up a tanking TSLA stock that he freely admits to owning (down about 30 percent year to date). No, he’s shooting it straight, and Elon laying off 10 percent of the company — including the head of EV Charging and her entire 500-person team — is playing 4D chess, actually.

For Sandy, a bona fide business man, this is just game recognizing game. Elon is a smart business man and he knows what he’s doing. “If your chargers are the best on the planet, and that’s the truth, and they’re running at 99.9 percent up-time, what do you need an R&D and a new product development team for? These are as good as you’re ever going to get!” Don’t worry about maintaining that uptime as a dozen new automakers get added to the Supercharger network, surely that transition will go just fine without any engineers on the case.

Obviously everything that Elon does is incredibly smart, and he should never be doubted. That’s a given. “This guy thinks like a mile ahead. He’s not a checker player, he’s a chess player. He already figured that this was eventually going to happen, and he planned for it.” All of the other automakers laying people off? They’re stupid. Dumb as rocks. But Elon laying people off is the smartest goddamn thing anyone has ever done in the history of ever!

The media won’t tell you this.

“Elon Musk is the greatest person on the planet right now. Nobody else has made a rocket ship that will go to Mars. Nobody out there has made electrification a reality. You look at that magnificent piece back there [referring to a Cybertruck], even if you don’t like the look of it, look inside! Who else is going to be able to push 48 volts, which we should have done in the 1960s. Who else is going to give you ethernet ring that eliminates a giant amount of CANBUS? Who else is going to give you rear wheel steering? Who else is going to give you steer-by-wire? Nobody! Why? Because they don’t have the brains, they don’t have the guts, and they will never take a risk!”

Why can’t the media just lay off Elon? He has it so tough these days. Good thing there are good guys like Sandy to defend the honor of one of the richest men in the world.
